Celebrate the military with this vintage piece that pays homage to those who have served and protected our country.  The  30th Field Artillery Battalion  was a U.S. Army unit stationed in Germany, where it was activated in 1958 and inactivated in 1988, providing medium artillery support to the First Infantry Division. The unit was initially redesignated from the 521st Field Artillery Battalion in 1945 after redeploying from Germany to Fort Bragg, North Carolina. It was reactivated in Erlangen, Germany, in August 1951, and its history is now maintained by Fort Sill.
