This is embossed onto the bell of the instrument, and the serial number dates the instrument as 1927.
'Boosey & Co. was a London-based music lending library and publisher founded by John Boosey in the 1760s, which later expanded into instrument manufacturing and merged with Hawkes & Son in 1930 to form the music publishing and instrument company Boosey & Hawkes.'
The trumpet comes complete with its mouthpiece and a black leather hard case.
