The K&N 57-1514-1 Performance Air Intake System is designed to enhance the performance of the 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ equipped with the 4.0L I6 engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory air intake, allowing for increased airflow that translates to an estimated horsepower gain of up to 12.13 HP. The high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded intake tube is engineered to provide cooler, denser air to the engine, improving throttle response and acceleration.
The system features a washable and reusable High-Flow Air Filter™ with oiled cotton filter media, designed to last up to 100,000 miles between servicing under normal driving conditions. The oversized, conical design allows for increased airflow, while the included heat shield protects the intake air from engine heat, maintaining optimal air temperature for combustion. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory mounting points and requiring basic hand tools. The K&N 57-1514-1 is street legal in all 50 states, backed by K&N's 10-Year/Million Mile Limited Warranty.
