Antique Porcelain Royal Bavarian Hutschenreuther with Hand-painted Man Portrait & Gold Leaf  Cup. C. 1920

Marked Royal Bavarian Hutschenreuther Hohenberg, Bavaria (1901-1933).   

Beautiful porcelain empire form oversized cabinet cup. Nicely decorated with a very nicely hand painted a man portrait. The portrait is framed by gold gilt leaves, with two bands of gold gilt leaves around the body of the cup. With gold gilding along the inside and outside of the lip, around the foot rim, and gold gilding down the handle. 

This is a portrait of Hans Gross (1847–1915), he was an Austrian jurist known for creating the field of criminology.
