Overall length: Approximately 17.7 inches Blade length: Approximately 11.8 inches Width: Approximately 1.46 inches (at the base) to 1.3 inches (at the tip) Thickness: Approximately 0.17 inches (at the base) to 0.10 inches (at the tip) Weight: Approximately 9.4 ounces Steel material: MKV10 stainless steel Hardness: Approximately HRC61 Manufacturing method: Vacuum heat treatment with sub-zero quenching Handle: Octagonal ebony and black water buffalo horn handle Sheath: None Back pressure, flat grinding, urasuki (concave back), and gradual thinning have been applied; the condition is excellent. Honbazuke (true edge sharpening) applied, making it rust-resistant. The blade angle has been sharpened to nearly the thinnest possible level. The micro-bevel has almost disappeared, resulting in ultimate sharpness. Because it was entirely hand-sharpened, a time-consuming process, its value is exceptionally high. The cutting edge has been ground to the minimum angle and has a hairline finish.
