Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode is an espionage action-adventure game for the NES where players control the legendary assassin Duke Togo (Golgo 13) as he investigates the theft of a dangerous biological weapon called Cassandra-G, and clears his name after being framed for the incident. The game features varied gameplay styles, including side-scrolling action, gallery-style shooting, 360° aiming sequences, sniping, and even 3D maze-like sections. The player must gather clues and travel the globe to uncover a conspiracy involving the terrorist DRE Empire, leading to confrontations with various enemies and international agents.
