This is an exceptionally rare find: a vintage carved leather coin purse from the turn of the 20th century. This authentic piece of tobacciana is marked with the slogan, "If It Comes From The House of Crane It's A Good Cigar," making it a unique and early example of cigar advertising.
Item Details & Condition:
Era: Circa 1900
Dimensions: 2.75" inches wide
Material: All leather with a metal snap. The slogan is in raised letters.
Condition: Amazing condition for its age. The leather is slightly curled from being stored in the same position for many years. We advise not to attempt to open the snap due to the age of the leather.
Rarity: This may be the only example known, as it was found in the Crane warehouse many years ago.
This is a must-have for serious collectors of early advertising, tobacciana, or unique leather goods.
