2/ The star and stripe patch was used by the US Army Air Forces during World War II and features the US national insignia with a white five-pointed star on a blue circle, flanked by red and white stripes on either side, all within a yellow border.
3/ The patch features the colors of the French flag (blue, white, and red) in the upper section and a golden double-headed eagle on a black background in the lower section.
This patch was associated with the 14th Panzergrenadier Division, also known as "Hanse," an armored infantry unit within the German Federal Army.
This patch is now considered obsolete, as it was used by a unit that was part of a Multinational Corps for NATO North East.
