Vintage Franciscan “El Patio” cylinder beer pitcher in gloss turquoise (Glacial Blue), produced by Gladding-McBean, California, circa 1940–1947. This striking early modern form measures 8 7/8" tall, 6" diameter at rim, and 4 1/4" base diameter. Finished in a high-gloss turquoise glaze, an uncommon variant compared to the matte versions.

Notes
Franciscan’s El Patio line (1934–1950) epitomized California Colorware design, offered in a vivid palette of Flame Orange, Yellow, Redwood, Glacial Blue, Mexican Blue, and others. The cylinder beer pitcher is among the harder-to-find pieces, especially in flawless glossy turquoise.
