The British edition was made up from the US sheets and reissued with a new title page. This is a VG copy, with fading to outer edges of front board, some darkening to spine; chipping to spine label; lacking fep but a sound clean copy of a scarce work, with the bookplate of noted protein scientist Edwin Joseph Cohn, whose work on blood fractionation saved thousands of lives in WWII.
