This is from my own collection and is what I consider to be a rare and interesting vintage compact. The top has the metal showing, but then you also see a border of red enamel paint and inside that it looks like the background square is cork with two raised Scottie dogs who stand above the surface. Not sure if they are resin, but they "tap" more like metal and also have the details a metal would have more so than resin. If you look at the tiny border around the cork area, you will notice it has a pattern of tiny dots that actually shows up very well. See the photos for small amount of wear on the red enamel back. The compact is a little short of 3 inches square. I have not seen a Scottie compact anything like this before. Quite the treasure. Thanks for looking and please check in often to see what I have just added. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
