Limited Edition : 55/90
Two tone Visconti 18k-750 Firenze Medium (M) Nib
Year : 1997
Made in Italy
The Visconti Pen Plus fountain pen was a project linked to the german magazine « Pen Plus » that saw the light at the end of the 1990s under the curatorship of Tom Westerich. It was availabe in green celluloid (90 pieces) and in Demonstrator (10 pieces).
It is quite a large pen, measuring 14 cms with a heft to match. It has a Power fill plunger system and an 18K two-tone gold Medium (M) nib.
The material of the Visconti Pen Plus needs no introduction, it is the very same celluloid of the Visconti Michelangelo Grande. It captures light so well, and is truly a kaleidoscope of green. The brilliant sterling silver trim (hallmarked Ag 925) complements the flecked green material and golden veins perfectly.
It is equipped with Visconti’s Power Reserve filler, making good use of the barrel space to hold a lot of ink. There is also an ink window so you can see how much ink you have left.
The top cap shows an intricate silver seal, handmade in a small atelier in Hamburg, Germany.
The pen comes in excellent condition. No box and no papers.
Scarce and refined model.
