Before replacing the compressor, please ensure the following steps are performed:
1. Due to prolonged operation, the old compressor may have generated debris that has accumulated in the system, potentially causing blockages or leaks in the pipes. Therefore, before replacing the compressor, it is essential to use nitrogen or refrigerant to clear the pipes. Disconnect and clean all pipes in the system. Fill the pipes, condenser, and evaporator with pipe cleaner and let it soak for approximately 20 minutes. Then use high-pressure nitrogen to flush out the cleaner and debris, ensuring no residue remains in the system. If the expansion valve, filter, or capillary tube is blocked, it must be replaced.
2. Inspect the cooling system, thoroughly clean the condenser and evaporator both inside and out, check if the cooling fan speed is normal, and replace the capacitor if it is insufficient to ensure proper cooling performance.
3. Before installation, test the compressor's current and suction/exhaust functions under power before welding. Evacuate the system to completely remove air, charge with refrigerant, and check high and low pressures. If pressures are abnormal, diagnose the cause before proceeding with installation. Use genuine refrigerant; counterfeit refrigerant can shorten compressor lifespan.
