Apparently these are quite scarce so it took some time to research them. Here's some interesting background for them:

Darian G.F.D... the GFD is for Grant Featherstone Designs.
Grant was an Australian who became a renowned designer, specially famous for his chairs. But from around 1946 to 1954, in association with his first wife Claire, Grant designed glass buttons. His company, Darian, produced around 40 designs. He purchased the brass back plates which originally were not engraved. Later he had them marked with G.F.D. and Darian. The buttons were made from molded clear colorless glass, some with solid color applied to the backs.  Some were further finished with metallic lusters on the face. Either a 10mm or 16mm brass back plate shank would be glued to the back.

- Coil design on the face accented with gold luster.
- Earlier 10mm brass back plate.
- Button measures just over 3/4 inch (19mm)
- Light surface wear else good condition

Button #2
- Clear glass with green back paint.
- Flower design on the face accented with silver luster.
- Earlier 10mm brass back plate.
- Button measures approximately 1 inch (25mm)
- Good condition

Button #3
- Clear glass with gold back paint (same design as button #1).
- Coil design on the face accented with gold luster.
- Later engraved 16mm brass back plate.
- Button measures approximately 7/8 inch (22mm)
- Good condition

Button #4
- Clear glass with gold back paint.
- Ribbed design on the face is not accented with luster.
- Earlier 10mm brass back plate.
- Button measures approximately 1 inch (25mm)
- Good condition

Button #5
- Clear glass with gold back paint.
- Abstract design on the face heavily accented with gold luster.
- Later engraved 16mm brass back plate.
- Button measures approximately 1-1/16 inch (27mm)
- Good condition
