This is a digital print poster of Hindu Goddess Ma Kali who is the first of the ten mahavidyas in Hindu tantra tradition.

Iconography: Mother Kali is shown here as the four armed form and the dakshinachara (right foot forward) posture. She is the mother of the universe and represents kaal (time). Her long unbound hair symbolize the unknown future which only she knows. The sword represents divine knowledge while the severed head shows the human ego which must be cut. The other two hands are in Abhaya (fearlessness) and Vara (blessings) mudras. The garland of human heads are 52, which represent the Sanskrit alphabet i.e. she is the mother of knowledge and learning. She stands on God Shiva, who represents the static aspect of God, while She is the dynamic aspect.
