• Tincture of wax moth larvae is obtained by infusing Galleria Melonella (large wax moth) larvae in a 40% alcohol solution. The concentration of the finished tincture is 20%. It has the color of weak tea and a rather pleasant protein-honey aroma. It is better to shake the tincture before use, since some of its components may precipitate, which is sometimes observed at the bottom of the bottle.
