Southern coin silver tablespoon-serving was produced by James Conning of Mobile, AL, circa 1842-1872. The handles are of the fiddle shape style, tipt end, winged heel, and monogrammed E.E.C on the topside. This spoon is 8 1/2" long, has a 1 7/8" wide bowl, and weighs 1.73 troy ounces (See images).
