Originally commissioned as a custom-made high-end kimono valued at approximately 500,000 JPY (about 3,000 USD), this elegant textile has been beautifully upcycled into a modern, wearable piece of art.

This particular design features auspicious motifs such as traditional tsuzumi drums, floral carts (hanaguruma), pine, bamboo, plum blossoms, and seasonal flowers like sakura and chrysanthemums—each symbolizing longevity, joy, and elegance.

The fabric is accented with golden embroidery-like details that evoke timeless luxury and refined aesthetics rooted in Japanese culture.

Each motif was originally crafted for a special kimono worn at one important moment in life.

We have reinterpreted this precious garment with care and respect, transforming it into a piece that Western customers can also wear and enjoy.
