BY-SDIS-705 can take 2 Ch x 3G/HD/SD-SDI in and output one Channel or the other toggled by a button. It supports seamless switching between two inputs and delivers a single output, making it ideal for broadcast, live production, and post-production applications.

Applications
To be mounted on a camera, and to take in that camera's SDI output and also take in a B camera receiver which is mounted on it. For two operators to see each other's feed, in a scenario where they are using a 7" onboard monitor that only has 1 SDI in for example and the body doesn't have a return feed option.
