Rare German book about the Turkish Seljuk Inscriptions in Konia Konya by Julius Springer, 1st edition printed as a manuscript, with some hand painted illustrations. It measures 42cm x 30cm and weighs 1.5kgs. Please scroll down for more photos.
It is half cloth and well worn, with dirt, scuff marks, scratches and wear to the covers particularly the edges & spine. The spine is also discoloured. The pages are in fairly good condition, with not much toning or marks, but the binding glue/gum is brittle, so pages need to be turned delicately or may start coming loose. The staples binding the pages have rust.
