The only exhibition in Japan where professional bonsai artists exhibit under their own names.

Every year, a number of professional bonsai artists showcase their cultivation and arranging techniques and artistic sense in works bearing their own names.

The first exhibition was held at the Daimaru Tokyo Store in the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station as part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the accession to the throne of Emperor Showa.

The exhibition attracted attention as the world's first bonsai exhibition by bonsai artists, and was a great success not only in the bonsai world but also in the general public.

Objective.

To give visitors a sense of the sensitivity, style, and cultivation techniques of the bonsai artists who are active throughout Japan.

To promote the art of bonsai as a unique culture and art form in Japan, and to promote and develop the art of bonsai both in Japan and abroad.
