Description

The Telestream ECO8000-DPW Hot-Swappable Redundant/Backup Power Supply Module adds a second hot-swappable, redundant power supply to the ECO8000 ECO Automatic Changeover Units. This option removes the risk of sync loss due to power supply unit failure and minimizes disruption in operations. The main unit will periodically test the backup power supply to verify the performance. If the test fails, a fault will be indicated on the LED fault indicator along with an error message to notify the user that the power supply must be replaced.

The Telestream ECO8000-DPW features both AC and DC indicator LEDs. These LEDs continue to operate for 10 minutes after the loss of power. This allows for quick user troubleshooting in the event of supply or AC power failure.

This option is factory-upgradable and must be purchased with the ECO8000 ECO Automatic Changeover Unit.
