Condition
A vintage L.S. Starrett engineer's machinist's spirit level in good used condition. It is supplied with its original wooden protective storage box, although the box has some damage and signs of age.
The level has two spirit vials and measures approximately 6 inches in length. It shows normal signs of careful workshop use but remains a well-made precision instrument from one of the best-known names in engineering measuring equipment.
What Is Included
Supplied with the spirit level and its wooden storage box exactly as shown in the photographs.
Please Note
I do not have the equipment required to verify or calibrate the accuracy of this level, so it is being sold as a vintage engineering instrument in good used condition. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
Applications & Collectibility
Suitable for precision engineering, machine tool setting, milling machines, lathes, surface plates, workshop inspection, toolrooms, model engineering and general workshop use. L.S. Starrett measuring tools are highly regarded throughout the engineering industry and are sought after by machinists, instrument makers, restorers, collectors of vintage tools and those assembling high-quality workshop equipment. This example would also make an excellent addition to a collection of Starrett, Moore & Wright, Rabone, Brown & Sharpe or other traditional engineering measuring instruments.
