Location and installation:
Before changing the oil filter,you need to drain the oil at the beginning.The air filter located on the driver side need to be removed,too.Because it will cause obstacles to the removal and installation of the oil filter.
Remove the cap with the 1 1/16in(27mm) socket on the right side of your engine and unscrew the oil filter.Place some rag or paper towel under the oil filter housing and let the excess oil drip into the engine down to the drain pan.
Lubricate the cap o-ring and element o-ring with fresh motor oil,combine the cap and filter,then use the same tools to tighten them on the engine.
