This wonderful Brooklyn Dodgers Celluloid pin measures approximately 1 3/4" in diameter and sports a red/white/blue ribbon and period ball & bat hangers. This Celluloid Dodgers pin is in outstanding condition with no visible wear to the Celluloid face and light oxidation on the back (see auction photos to appreciate). You don't see this colorful version of Dodgers pin come to market often, especially in this nice of condition. Actually, this is the only one I've ever seen. Can't imagine you'll find one out there nicer than this one. The Celluloid face of the pin is in excellent condition, with no cracks, no visible wear to the naked eye, and retains wonderful color and gloss. The reverse of this pin shows the type of oxidation that you would expect to see on a pin of this vintage. If you peek under the ribbon, you will see the much sought after union stamp.
