The Lutheran Service Book has been around for awhile, but this guide, published in fall of 2006, might still come in handy for use in the congregation. It was prepared by the Commission on Worship of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod specifically to provide the opportunity for congregations to “examine their current worship practices and to identify opportunities where their worship life may be enriched through the use of a new worship resource”. The resources contained in this booklet are relevant and can still be used, even after all the years that have passed since it was first published.
