For offer is this gorgeous Steuben Crystal Art Glass Owl Figurine Hand Cooler Paperweight!

This crystal owl “hand cooler” was designed by artist Lloyd Atkins for Steuben.

Steuben introduced the Hand Cooler line as a modern reinterpretation of the porcelain and glass objects used by Victorian ladies in the 19th century to moderate their body temperature at large social gatherings.

Each piece was a diminutive oval-shaped symbolic sculpture of a creature meant to nestle comfortably in the palm.

The owl figurine represents vision and wisdom which are the qualities traditionally associated with the owl, a symbol to celebrate outstanding achievement.

It measures 2.5in tall
