St Benedict Crucifix 3"

Blue, Brown, Black and Red Enamel finish.

Made in Italy, these beautiful Chrome and Enamel Benedictine Crucifixes, bear a nicely 

figured Christ in metal, with inset medallion depicting the Cross of St Benedict - Crux 

sacra sit mihi lux! Non Nunquam draco sit mihi dux! ("May the holy cross be my light! 

May the dragon never be my overlord!") above the figure.

The obverse of the medal, depicting St Benedict displayed on the reverse of the Crucifix.

This shews St Benedict, holding the cross in his right hand as the symbol of salvation; 

whilst he holds his monastic rule in his left hand. His attributes, the poisoned cup to his 

right, and the raven to his left.

The Crucifixes are completed with an 18" -20" adjustable rubberised cord, with 

lobster claw fastening.
