1959 Press Photo Major General Parmer W. Edwards awards Lieutenant Colonel

This is an original press photo. The United States Army Air Defense Command's 1958 Commander's Trophy was awarded here Sunday to the Louisiana National Guard's 527th Antiaircraft Artillery Battalion. The trophy, shown in the picture, was presented by Major General Parmer W. Edwards (left), deputy commander of the United States Army Air Defense Command, to Lieutenant Colonel William B. Cox, commanding officer of the 527th, shown with him. The presentation was made at formal military ceremony at Jackson Barracks. Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 04-13-1959.
