When the United States Mint first issued Morgan Silver Dollars in 1878, three branch mints were involved in striking the coins. In 1879, a fourth branch mint joined in the production of the coins with the New Orleans Mint striking Morgan Silver Dollars. In a new collection of silver for sale at the United States Mint, 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar bullion coins are available in five variations honoring the 100th anniversary of the final release of Morgan Dollars in 1921.
