"Let Bygones Be Back"
Antique program for a show of a revue starring actress and singer Shirley Kellogg at the world-famous Folies Bergère in Paris in 1919.
The Folies Bergère, still today an emblem of Paris nightlife, has operated since 1869 but enjoyed its heyday from the 1890s, during La Belle Époque (the name given to a period of optimism, peace and prosperity), through the 1920s, the period from which this ticket comes.
Shirley Kellogg (1887-?) was an American-born singer and actress who had more success performing in revue in Europe than in the U.S. She did travel to Hollywood in 1924 to break into silent movies.
Program measures 4 1/8" x 5
