Vintage Sears 5 Year Service Pin, Gold Tone, ca. 1990’s

This listing is for an old used Sears employee 5 year service pin.

• Sears initiated employee incentive award pins in 1912 featuring the Homan Avenue Headquarter building design.
• In 1973, Sears Chairman, Arthur M. Wood’s, offered a new design featuring the new Sears Tower building in the forefront layered on the old Homan Ave. Headquarters building on a rectangular background.
• In the early 1990’s under Alan Lacy’s leadership, a stacked triangular design award pin was designed.

The pin is gold toned metal and weighs approximately 4 grams including the stud and excluding the back clasp.

The pin measures 3/4” at the base of the triangle.

The attachment is a pin clasp made of unknown metal.

The pin is in good condition.

The manufacturer is unknown.
