This is an original press photo. Pebble Beach, California: Linda Louise, 17, phones from the bed in which she missed death by inches when a 75-foot pine tree crashed down on her house, toppled by storm (2/16). She is phoning her parents, Lieutenant Colonel and Mrs. Ray M. Lee, who were in Santa Ana, California, on their vacation. Linda was unscathed, as was her brother in adjoining room, and her grandparents, Mr., Mrs. George W. Bohlig, of St. Paul, Minnesota, who were also in the house. Photo measures 9.25 x 7inches. Photo is dated 02-17-1959.
