A very nice early 20th century American hand-woven miniature Buttocks basket.  Rib and splint style. The arched handle is sturdy and designed with cross weaving. The handle splint goes under the basket to form the bottom support. Symmetrically made. Very nice and tightly woven.

The basket is attractive and would make a great display with larger baskets or perfect for gift giving. No breaks or repairs.
