Introduction to Natural Philosophy by William Nicholson 5th Ed 1805. Leather bound. It has had a repair to the front and back in the past to keep the cover together on the first and last pages, however the cover has come loose again at the front on the second page. The back cover of the book is still attached albeit that the outer leather is torn along the seam. Aside from the loose front cover and repaired back cover, the remainder of the book pages are intact. The cover is dirty and worn, mostly to the edges as can be seen in the photos, and the gilt lettering on the spine is almost completely faded. There is a pencil inscription on the 2nd page. This book is full of fold out pages with beautiful copper plate drawings. I cant see that any are missing / torn. There is discolouration and dirt / foxing on some on some pages. Books are not my area of expertise, so please feel free to ask questions.
