The spring onion will grow to full maturity while in the hive where it can be cut and the root end re-inserted into the hive. Or you can simply cut the spring onion off flush with the Hive lid and the onion will keep growing. Hive holds 7 Spring Onions at a time. Cut as many or as few as you need at the time. Never buy spring onions again!
Your container, bottle or jar can be filled or topped up by lifting the Hive from the jar and adding
water to the container. Lower the Hive carefully back into the container so as not to break the outer cone
roots off.
