The author explored many of the less traveled parts of the continent at that time, particularly in Rhodesia, Uganda, and Tanganyika, photographing various natural wonders and wildlife, focusing on elephants and rhinos, among others. In quite uncommon original dust jacket. DJ good, with some soiling a rip that looks to have been repaired at bottom edge. Beautiful red cover with gilt features. Internally clean and bright.
