This is the Europe map install set for Gen20x vehicles. When making a purchase, please provide car's VIN number (in the NOTES section on the order during the checkout). The activation code for the map is generated on the basis of your VIN number, so please enter it carefully and double check.
- Your Gen20x navigation license should be active. You can check it in your ‘Settings-License’ section.
- If you don't have the knowledge to download a file, extract an archive, format an USB stick or an SD card and copy some files to an USB stick or to a SD card pls do not buy. It is better for you to go to a Mercedes Benz dealer. They will help you for a much bigger price.
- The activation code (PIN) is tied to the VIN of the car and to the specific version of the maps.
- This product is good just for map update. Your cars navigation unit must be in perfectly working condition.
- Maps are not interchangeable. For example: NTG 5.5 maps can only be installed on NTG 5.5 systems.
- This item cannot be used in any other car. Once you send us your car's VIN number, we will generate a unique activation code for you. With all this said, please ask before buying, because NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS POSIBLE, or NO MONEY BACK POSIBLE !!!
Manual:
1. Prepare your laptop (PC) and 128 USB stick. Download the link with the map that you will receive from us in the message (after purchase and payment). Unzip the downloaded file. Place files on NTFS formatted stick USB2.0.
2. Start your Mercedes.
3. Insert USB with map into the USB slot.
4. The map update will start automatically.
5. In the next step you will be asked to enter the activation code provided by us. Enter the code and click "OK".
6. Wait until the installation is complete.
