Welcome to the 2025 TAO, Daniel Grant’s new deck just got even better with triax glass to make things even tougher!! When redesigning the TAO, we couldn’t ignore DG’s prowess on both wakeboard and wakeskate. So, we built a wakeskate into his board! The TAO features Hotbox technology, maintaining high pop without sacrificing flexibility. It flexes like never before while still holding those huge landings Daniel is known for. The Liquid Force Tao is a board that is hard to explain in any normal way completely. With input from park phenom Daniel Grant (known for his prowess both on a wakeboard and a wakeskate) the next generation Tao was always going to blend elements of both for feel. The final product was a wakeboard that had a wakeskate profile embedded into the deck design of the wakeboard. This raised partition with a cantered recess through the middle, like a wakeskate top deck, allows you to feel grounded on your board and have incredible edge control and performance. This profile also works to provide a flex pattern like no other. With its denser profile through the guts, the Tao will hold up to big landings from kickers and features with ease but not sacrifice the flex that you chase throughout the park range. All this, combined with a toned-down base structure that maximises freedom on water and across features, provides you with an all-out assault weapon to attack your park riding.

Rocker Line

Aggressive 3-Stage Rocker - An aggressive 3-stage rocker with a maximised flat spot and a pronounced kick in the tip and tail, giving a lot of energy build up and a bitey, hard edge into features, finishing with huge explosive pop for maximum height.

Flex Rating(1=Soft, 10=Stiff) – 3/10 (Tip and Tail) & 7/10 (Mid Section)
Hot Box | Stepped Deck - A thicker structure around the rail profile (Stepped Deck) and a 2-3mm sunken partition (Hot Box) from binding insert to binding insert gives you a more grounded feeling while retaining the overall strength of the board for true pop without sacrificing flexibility

Core Construction

Paulownia Wood CNC'd Core - Made from one of the earth's most renewable sources, trees. Paulownia wood is the snowboard-influenced core that gives a snappy, lively feel and offers plenty of flex to press right into those rails.
Bio Resin: 35% Natural Glycerin Resin - This is a simple by-product of biodiesel production that allows the ski to rebound out of turns faster, allowing for a lighter feel underfoot.

Rails/Edges

Liquid Rails – An elastomeric sidewall construction that Liquid Force has produced to keep your rails safe. Designed specifically to absorb intense hits, the sidewall will flex with your board for a near-indestructible material.
Lifted Rail design - A turned-up base edge, making features incredibly easy and stopping you from getting caught up on them if you're out of position.

Laminates

Layered Tri-Axial Glass – Making sure your board doesn’t soften over the years, 3 way strung layered fibreglass will help to keep you poppin’ without sacrificing flex where you want it

Base

LF Grind Base – Don’t get caught out with a damaged base, Liquid Force’s Grind base makes sure your base features stay featured season after season without wear
Single Concave Hull - Mellows out those landings off the big kickers and drops off rails
Edge Channels - Exactly as it sounds, these channels run the full length of the edge radius, making your cuts into any obstacles easy and controlled.
Tip and Tail Channels - Provide you with stability right through the top end of a cut and on release in your pop while still giving you freedom once on features.
