It has a powerful brushless motor and the soft start allows the motor to build up speed and so not overload the engine. This all adds up to a high-performance tool that also has a longer service life. Should you be working in areas where light is scarcer, simply turn on the LED work light. This will clearly illuminate the working area and allow you to continue safely and with accuracy. Sold as a bare unit without batteries or chargers.
