Before measuring, check that the liquid column is below the first numerical temperature value (35°C-36°C).
Clean the thermometer before and after use.
Place the thermometer against the body according to the type of measurement (armpit, rectum, mouth).
After about 4 minutes, the thermometer assumes body temperature.
The temperature can be read by turning the thermometer slightly back and forth.
The measuring liquid in the glass capillary tube indicates the measured body temperature on the thermometer scale.
After the measurement, the temperature indicating liquid should be brought back to the beginning of the scale.
To do this, hold the thermometer by its upper end and shake it off with 15 - 20 quick movements of the wrist.
