Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity.
We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces. If you have questions regarding the specifications, provenance, history, etc., no problem. Just ask if you have a question!
We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular. We always have the inventory in our possession. We do not do the broker thing.
The condition of this watch is as follows: Good pre-owned condition as described in the Condition description (see the details just below the price)
Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision.
With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include:
1. This watch is svelte at approximately 40mm and works well on a medium sized wrists. I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 6+3/8 inches in circumference and larger up to about 7+3/4 inches. I have an average size man'swrist (7+1/4 inchese) and this watch works from a size perspective. It definitely makes a statement and is classically on the wrist. It wears true to form. It is classicly beautiful, a touch retro and very much for a conneisseur of rare, uber cool and fine timepieces.
2. This is an understated but clearly mission-driven timepiece --- it is an impressive, bold statement while not being "flashy" or gaudy. Quite the opposite actually. The dial, bezel and crystal interplay makes this watch as it beautiful, in a sort of "less is more" mission-driven kind of way.
3. As you can see on the pictures, the dial is extremely clear and makes reading the time and especially the date a real pleasure.
4. The 1911 case structure and band interplay is super-comfortable. This is one that I like to throw on and head out the door. I wear it about one time a month because I frankly love it. Think of this as truly great "all around sport watch" that is equally at home in a casual or sporting environment or an important business meeting or at the better restaurants in your area.
5. This is a medium big date automatic Swiss made classic watch that will last decades. Ebel would not have it any other way as that company is all about classic durability, fine Swiss watchmaking and value.
6. To me this has a Porsche 911 kind of design ethos. Would love for it to go to a buyer who has or appreciates a refined, teutonic... but not boring... design style.
7. This watch is aimed for somebody who wants something unique, bold and high-quality who likely wants a durable, reliable watch and who values those qualities.
8. This listing also includes the Ebel boxing that you see in the "everything photo." (Picture #2)
We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation. We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue. 100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way.
Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get. The only exceptions are the black case that we photograph on top of to prevent scratching and the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great. The Bull Dog is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond.
And finally, we are an Atlanta based business but we also operate out of North Florida (some inventory in both places) as I like to include my brother in the business some.
We sell only within the Continental United States or international through eBay's great international shipping program.
Thank you for your consideration,
Steve
