Vintage 1971 Virginia Military Institute (VMI) Commemorative Bronze Medallion

Offered is a special commemorative bronze medallion, circular measuring approximately 1.5", that was presented to 1971 VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE (VMI) alumni.

Front of medallion inscribes: "Virginia Military Institute, November 11, 1839" (Founders Day) with colorful Red, Yellow, White school emblem.

Back of medallion inscribes a quote from former VMI Professor and legendary Confederate General, "Stonewall" Jackson": "You Can Be Whatever You Resolve To Be" as well as school pledge: "Honor Above Self" 

Back center has inscribed replica of 1971 VMI alumni's class ring.

This medallion is in "pristine" condition as it has been safely stored in a bank safe deposit box enclosed in its original protective plastic covering.
