This exquisite bowl is a beautiful example of Art Nouveau German Biedermeir craftsmanship. Made in the 1890s in Germany, it features a stunning etched clear glass bowl on a brass columns base and is adorned with a brass statue of a girl with a bird.
This bowl is a rare find, with its origins dating back to 1890's to 1910’s Germany. It is a genuine antique. The bowl is ready to be displayed or used for decorative purposes. Stands 10.5 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.75 inches.
For the age it is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is a couple scratches on the glass towards the center. There’s a dent in one of the columns. I think there might be something missing that was attached to the girl as there is 2 screw holes that are empty. The original hardware has been replaced. For shipping the bowl will be detached from the base.
This centerpiece bowl is very beautiful and is a very rare find.
