This is a striking and complete Fukuro-obi, made from an ivory silk fabric with designs in silver, ivory and purple.

The matsukawabishi designs have central floral motifs in silver. 

The obi is rokutsuu (65% patterned). The centre is in ivory silk. The reverse is in plain royal purple silk .

The obi has a slight patterned texture. There are dotted round wave patterns in the background.

Could be worn with most types of formal kimono. Also suitable for fabric crafts.

In very good wearable vintage condition, no major marks or flaws. There are the usual folds from storage.

There are a few slight blemishes. Please check the photos carefully.

Also perfect for glamorous soft furnishings such as cushion covers, table runners or a wall hanging.
