Blue John Specimen from Derbyshire

This is a super example of Blue John Fluorite from Derbyshire, from old stock. The piece shows the classic blue-purple and yellow from which Blue John derives its name. The piece has several well defined dark purple Fluorite crystals.

The piece weighs 49g and measures approx 34 x 31 x 27mm, and is best viewed under magnification to see the full detail (All weights and measures are approximate)

It is a beautiful piece which would appeal equally to collectors or to display in the home
