Wonderful view of the Theatre of Marcello by the engraver and architect Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778) of 1770 circa.

Piranesi was originated from Veneto and moved to Rome He was so charmed of the beauties of eternal city that decided to produced a series of "Vedute di Roma".

The engraving has been attached to a carton base.

Splendida veduta del Teatro di Marcello dell'incisore architetto Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778) del 1770 circa.

Veneto di origine, si trasferì a Roma dove, affascinato dalle bellezze della città eterna, iniziò la produzione delle "Vedute di Roma".

L'incisione è stata incollata su un cartoncino.
