Wonderful view of the Theatre of Marcello by the engraver and architect Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778) of 1770 circa.
Piranesi was originated from Veneto and moved to Rome He was so charmed of the beauties of eternal city that decided to produced a series of "Vedute di Roma".
The engraving has been attached to a carton base.
