SPACE PLATFORM tells the story of Joe Kenmore, who dreamed of Man's conquest of space and played a small but essential role in making this dream a reality. Joe helped make the gyros in his father's factory for the Space Platform that was to orbit around the Earth. He soon found that make the gyros wasn't enough - they had to be installed and protected from spies and saboteurs who would stop at nothing.

Joe's story, convincingly told, is more than a thrilling adventure; it is an account of one way Man's first venture into space could be accomplished, according to the experts who have done the figuring and have the facts. Courage, watchfulness and inventiveness get the Platform into the sky and Joe helps. The Moon's ahead!
