Roberto Burle Marx -- a pair of two striking hand signed numbered lithograph prints.  Plus three sheets of photographs including 8 photos of Roberto Burle Marx making these prints along with his artistic partner Haruyoshi Ono

The series produced by the artist in 1986 was printed in two different color palettes from each of six designs using stone plate lithography.  Here, is a pair of Pauliceia and Pauliceia I in its two color palettes.  These look incredible framed and displayed next to each other.

This sale is for two prints.
The prints have been stored since 1986 and are in pristine condition with extremely vibrant colors like the day printed.

Roberto Burle Marx signed his lithographs himself in pencil in the lower right-hand corner of each print.  An assistant would number the prints, also in pencil, in the lower left-hand corner and add the title of the print.  Shown here is Roberto's pencil signature (from different prints); of course each signature is slightly unique.
