This clutch control solenoid controls the air for shifting in I-shift and mDrive transmissions in Volvo and Mack Trucks. This system requires dry, clean air to perform appropriately or the solenoids in this valve assembly can become stuck from moisture and debris. If the solenoids begin sticking, this will affect the ability of the transmission to shift gears. Thus, it is extremely important to follow the recommended maintenance of replacing the air dryer filter every year or 100,000 miles.

This 12V clutch control solenoid valve is a direct plug & play replacement for the original solenoid valve.
